A Very Warm Welcome to the Website of St. Brigid’s SGNS 

Our school community is happy to invite you to learn a little more about our wonderful school. There is an old saying which we have proven to be true time and time again in our school: ‘It takes a village to raise a child’. This website opens a few windows in our little village of St. Brigid’s!

Our new crest and motto demonstrate our vision and aims, through words and images. Our goal is to ‘promote the full and harmonious development of all aspects of the person of the pupil: intellectual, physical, cultural, moral and spiritual, including a living relationship with God and with other people.’

We are helping our young people to learn and develop in a variety of ways. We aspire to educate them in how to live happily together as responsible, respectful and inquisitive citizens of the universe. We aim to encourage our pupils to be their best selves and prepare them both for the world of today and that of tomorrow,  a world that does not yet exist.

Motto: Together let’s live for today and learn for tomorrow.

We can only do this with the continued assistance and support of parents/guardians, families and friends of our pupils, along with the wider community.

We hope that our website will demonstrate a little of the exciting work and activities carried out in St. Brigid’s and will provide our visitors with some information about our super school community who work together to make this a great place to be!
