Visit from the Lord Mayor of Dublin

On Tuesday the 16th of April we had a visit from Daithí de Róiste – Lord Mayor of Dublin. He was visiting schools all around Dublin to promote and discuss kindness. When he arrived he was greeted by our kindness committee. He admired all of the hard work all classes had done to decorate the school and room 1. The kindness committee asked him some questions and the girls from Ms. Lawlor’s 3rd class and Ms. Kerrigan’s 5th sang our kindness song ‘count on me’ by Bruno Mars.

The Lord Mayor also planted a tree for kindness in the front of our school.

Our Motto

“Together let’s live for today and learn for tomorrow”

was created along with our crest in 2012 and both continue to be as relevant today as they were then.
