We went to visit the National Botanic Gardens for National Tree Day. We saw lots of different trees, plants and animals. We really enjoyed our day out.
Jim from Dublin Zoo came to visit us recently. He spoke to us about the different animals and areas in the zoo. He showed us lots of photographs of the zoo animals and he also brought in different animal skins and an elephant’s foot for us to look at.
Leslie came into our school for six weeks to teach us some athletics skills. We learned lots of new things including how to throw a javelin, jumping activities and batting practice to prepare us for a game of rounders. We thoroughly enjoyed her lessons and hope she comes back next year!
