Best wishes to the Gaelic Football and Basketball Teams taking part in Leagues this month!
On Wednesday 28th of September the Gaa team played their last match of the Cumann na mBunscol League for this year. In our first home match of the three we played we were absolutely delighted with the support from parents and staff of the school. It was an exciting and eventful match with plenty of scoring for both teams. We were neck and neck for the best part of the game. Unfortunately we didn’t win but we had a brilliant time in the unseasonal weather and loved playing on home turf.
On Tuesday the 13th of September the school team travelled to Na Fianna GAA club in Glasnevin to compete in our first match of the year. The girls played wonderfully and had a fantastic time at the game. We’re already looking forward to our next game on Wednesday!
We will be holding a Friendship Week in St. Brigid’s from 5th to the 9th of September 2016! Warm and fuzzy feelings all round!
Multicultural Week takes place in St. Brigid’s from 19th-23rd September. Let’s celebrate diversity!
