5th class school tour – Jumpzone

On Friday the 5th of June, both 5th classes set off on an adventure. We were heading to Jumpzone in Santry. While we were there we played on the trampolines, dodgeball courts, basketball and in the foam pit. We really enjoyed our time there, even though we were exhausted afterwards.

When we finished in Jumpzone we headed for lunch in McDonald’s in Omni. We ate to our hearts content and afterwards we headed to the local playground for a few minutes.

We took the bus back to school and went home. It was a brilliant day!

We’d also like to say a special thanks to our two helpers for the day Trisha (Natasha’s mam) and Nora (Lucy’s granny)

Orange Cookies

This week we made Orange Cookies!

We weighed our flour, sugar, butter and vanilla extract. Then we added eggs and mixed all the ingredients together in a bowl. We rolled the dough into little balls. Squeezing the orange juice for the icing. Mixing the juice and icing sugar to make the icing. When they cooled down we put the icing on them and added some sprinkles. They were delicious!
