Board of Management

The Board of Management is appointed by the Patron of the school, who is the Archbishop of Dublin. This board consists of 2 Parents, 2 Teachers, 2 Patron’s appointees and 2 representatives of the Local Community.

The function of the Board is to oversee the correct running of the school in accordance with Department of Education and Skills’ Rules for National Schools and to ensure that this is done in accord with the Catholic Ethos/Schedule displayed in the school foyer. The Board, which meets on at least five occasions during the school year, is also responsible for teacher appointments and the financing of the school in co-operation with the Department of Education and Science.
