Maths for Fun in Room 4 (4th Class)

All parents, guardians and grandparents of pupils in Room 4 are invited to take part in any of the three Maths for Fun Monday sessions, 11th April, 18th April or 25th April. Just come along on at 11.30 a.m. to help out!

Welcome Back!

We are looking forward to welcoming all pupils back to school on Monday, 4th April at 9:00 a.m.

Our trip to the National Botanical Gardens, Glasnevin

We spent a lovely sunny morning in the National Botanical Gardens. We had a guided tour of the gardens where we saw a selection of native trees and plants. We also visited the green houses where we felt the tropical climate of the rainforest. We thoroughly enjoyed eating our lunch in the sensory garden surrounded by nature and a beautiful pond. To make our way back to school we wandered through Glasnevin Cemetery where we saw many ornate graves and tombs.

Cricket Blitz

On a cold, wet, blustery day both 6th classes walked up to Leisure Point to take part in a cricket blitz against St. Joseph’s GNS. We had been learning how to play cricket in school with the help of Dublin City Council and Leinster cricket. We throughly enjoyed our day and all teams played really well!
