Action from the last football match of the league

Well done to all the girls who took part in the training sessions and matches . They all improved tremendously since the beginning of the year.

6th Class Retreat

As part of our preparation for Confirmation, both sixth classes went to the Margaret Aylward Centre in Glasnevin . We prayed, reflected, played games, sang songs , drew pictures and coloured art work. We also received the Sacrament of the Eucharist and of Reconciliation. We had lots of fun too.

St. Brigid’s Penultimate Football Match

The school football team played their penultimate game of league in Balbriggian yesterday.  The team played Balscadden N.S. and they played very well considering it was only their second match. Klaudia gave a star performance in goals as she saved lots of shots on goal. All the defenders played very well and made some very good interceptions, tackles and blocks. Natasha and Cody played very well in midfield making some excellent passes to the forwards. Some girls were very unlucky not to score as their shots skimmed wide on a few occasions. A highlight of the first half would be a wonderful goal scored by Mew and a highlight from the second half would include a well -struck point by Georgia. Well done to all the girls. They showed great team spirit.
